MODULE 1 OF 8

Choose the Target Behavior

Let's Talk About It

A target behavior must be something another person could observe, even if nobody will be watching. Replace broad identities such as being organized with a repeatable action. Precise targets make tracking and troubleshooting possible.

Guided Activity

Your Working Page

Specify one action using a verb, an object, and a completion condition.

What action will occur? What object will it affect? What counts as finished? How often is it useful? What is outside this target?

Affirmation for this resource

I can redesign an unworkable system instead of insulting myself.

Opening Prayer

Lord, give me clarity about the systems that support my intentions. Help me learn from evidence rather than punish myself for friction. Amen.

Scripture Reflection

Proverbs 21:5 (NIV) · Diligent planning supports steady progress.
